  • Walmart announced that Doug McMillon will retire early next year—John Furner will take over as CEO, marking its first leadership change since 2014. The retailer employs nearly 9,000 people at more than 30 stores in Connecticut and has recently renovated several locations while continuing to hire locally.  The Ridgefield Press

  • Yale came back from a 28-point deficit to beat Youngstown State 43-42 on November 22—running back Joshua Pitsenberger made a key 55-yard touchdown to secure the win. The Bulldogs will play Montana State on Dec. 6 at 2 p.m.  The Ridgefield Press
