This weekend in Connecticut offers many festive events—from Sarah Brightman’s Winter Symphony at Mohegan Sun Arena today at 7:30 p.m. to a special holiday train ride in Danbury running through Dec.
22—that feature concerts, seasonal theater shows, art exhibits and family activities statewide. Viewers can also catch performances by Jessica Lynn and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra among other highlights.
On Nov 28, UConn gained full strength at Madison Square Garden when Braylon Mullins and Tarris Reed Jr. returned from injuries in a 74-61 win over Illinois—Mullins played 10 minutes with limited impact while Reed, starting again, grabbed five rebounds.
Coach Dan Hurley said the pair is expected to boost the team’s offense and defense in upcoming games.
