- ➤ Three historic train services in Connecticut will offer festive rides with Santa during the holiday season. In Danbury, the Railway Museum’s Santa Trains run from Nov 29 through Dec 22 with a short ride and a meet and greet with Santa & Mrs. Claus while trains in Thomaston and Essex offer themed rides with gifts, carols, and treats for families. - ➤ Lottery jackpots have reached a combined $1.5 billion ahead of this weekend's drawings, with the Mega Millions estimated at $965 million (cash option $445.3 million) and the Powerball at $546 million (cash option $255 million); the Powerball drawing will take place tonight while the Mega Millions drawing is set for Friday night.
