Tickets for Amtrak's new NextGen Acela trains are on sale with a one-way trip from New Haven to Boston priced at $321 on Aug.

29 and a New Haven to Washington D.C. trip starting at $168 in early September, with stops at Stamford and New Haven’s Union Station. The trains will carry 27% more seats and reach speeds of 160 mph—features that will improve service on the Northeast Corridor.
