A pedestrian was hit by a car on Danbury Road near Rings End in Wilton shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday night and was taken to the hospital with injuries that remain unknown.

Lake Compounce announced that its Holiday Lights celebration will retire after the 2025 season.
