A Danbury couple—Trista Reilly, 43, and Christopher Arnold, 42—was arrested Saturday on a Jet Blue flight from New York to Sarasota after a mother with two children reported they saw the pair perform sexual acts, and police charged them with lewd and lascivious exhibition.
Gov. Ned Lamont signed two bills Tuesday at the Middletown Community Health Center to improve mental health services for expecting and new parents.
One law requires new birth centers and hospitals to serve Medicaid patients while the other creates a task force to identify gaps in prenatal care (report due by 2027).
Connecticut DOT will replace the railroad crossing on Route 123 in Norwalk from Aug.
1 through Aug. 5 and recommends that drivers using Main Street/New Canaan Avenue as a connector between the Merritt Parkway and U.S. Route 7 avoid the area—Metro-North will begin track work on the Danbury Branch Line from Aug. 1 through Aug. 17 with bus service available during the projects—officials said.
