- ➤ Lyman Orchards will open its new 19th sunflower maze themed with Elmo + Sesame Street on Aug. 2, featuring paths cut into the shape of characters and a Maze Passport with trivia questions to guide visitors. The maze will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Aug. 24, with admissions at $12 for those 13 and up and $7 for ages four to 12 while $1 from each ticket is donated to Connecticut Children's Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders.
