- ➤ On Wednesday night, State Police responded to a crash between a car and a motorcycle on Interstate-84 East near Exit 8 in Bethel—reporting one person was seriously injured and the highway was closed until about 3:11 a.m. WTNH-TV
- ➤ After two state troopers were injured on I-91 in Enfield early Thursday, Professor Daniel Maxwell at the University of New Haven urged first responders to take extra safety measures and reminded drivers to slow down and move over—one in three first responders develop PTSD. WTNH-TV

- ➤ The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection announced that DraftKings will return over $3 million to 7,000 consumers who joined bonus offers between October 19, 2021 and January 4, 2023.
