Police said an ATV accident on South Street on June 20th left one person with life-threatening injuries and hospitalized—two other riders left the scene before officers arrived.

Connecticut recorded 10,932 RSV cases during the 2024-25 season—a 24% drop from last season, with 1,269 hospitalizations marking a 19% decrease and the weekly peak of 1,149 cases occurring in mid-December.

The state Department of Public Health began tracking cases in September and continues to update the statistics.
