Connecticut recorded a 10 percent drop in housing permits in early 2025 with fewer than 1,650 units approved (placing the state 40th in permit momentum) as lawmakers passed an affordable housing bill that Gov. Lamont said he was unlikely to veto while towns debate new zoning measures for future development.
🏥 Health
AMR announced Sunday that it will be the first ambulance service in Fairfield County to carry whole blood.
The company partnered with Bridgeport Hospital and the Bridgeport Blood Bank — a move expected to save lives by giving patients both oxygen and fluids when they lose blood.
