  • Wilton police rescued a loose goat and located its owner after a trespasser was caught near Danbury Road and Ridgefield Road – officials said the animal was cooperative during the investigation and has now been released.  News 12 Connecticut

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Gov. Lamont announced Monday a $320 million investment in early childhood education as part of the 2027 state budget. The move, following last year’s $300 million investment, aims to boost childcare access, raise educator wages and improve local facilities statewide.  WTNH-TV
