On April 4, the Attorney General said his office seized 55 pounds of illegal cannabis products from three Danbury smoke shops — Star Rose Vape & Smoke Shop, All the Smoke and CT Smoke House during a multi-agency investigation that led to the arrest of Ronnie Prior, owner of All the Smoke, on charges of operating a drug factory and selling over a kilogram of cannabis.

Four men were charged with federal sex trafficking offenses after being arrested in March at a suspected Danbury brothel — cell phone analysis showed one man coordinated transport of 15- and 16-year-old girls following WhatsApp messages advertising their sale — and the victims received hospital care.
